New Pics of Jewelry Show

I had a Jewelry Show in Yazoo City yesterday and here is some of the Jewelry I had on display.  I did better than I expected and am really encouraged with the way my jewelry is being accepted.

I feel like my jewelry makin’ skills are actually improvin’ as I continue to make it and that is encouragin’ also.

Right now I don’t have anything concrete scheduled so I guess I’ll just be sellin’ it out of the trunk of my car.  I know that sounds a little weird but sometimes when I mention I make jewelry people tell me they would like to see some of it.  I keep some with me most of the time so I show them.

I went to a yard sale last weekend, bought some stuff and left there with $10 more than I got there with.

Several people have asked me if I give lessons on jewelry makin’ and I usually tell them that I can’t give lessons because I really don’t know what I am doin’.  I just start twistin’ wire, add a bead, button or marble and then see what it looks like.  Whether I know what I am doin’ or not ain’t all that important because I’m havin’ the time of my life.

Bo, you’re making some really pretty stuff. Glad you’re having a wonderful time with it. ❤

  2. I love that…I can’t teach you because I don’t know what I am doing.

    Yazoo City…you making that up?

Nope. Home of Zig Ziglar, Author Willie Morris, and Jerry Clower himself went into show business while workin’ here. We even have a Jerry Clower Festival each year.

I think when the weather cools again, I may go back to making some of my jewelry. I have not made anything this year, but it is relaxing and creative. A wonderful combination.

Your jewelry looks quite nice, really, so it’s not that surprising that people like it. Have you ever thought about trying etsy.com?
