Did you ever notice that some things would just go away if you left them alone but if you keep foolin’ with them they just keep gettin’ worse. Bein’ a professional procrastinator I have learned that some things just go away if you ignore them long enough. I have also learned that there is no social problem that can’t be made worse by turnin’ it over to the government and throwin’ money at it.
I think we should live in a shovel-free environment. No mountains. No holes.
I like this comment very much. 🙂 I like this post as well. I say put your feet up, Bo and have a cup of tea to accompany your procrastination. 🙂
Apologies, I forgot I was logged into my ezine account! Sorry, Bo, that was me that left the previous comment! 🙂
I do that a lot. Its okay…for a minute I thought I might make a new friend but I still treasure my faithful friends so that’s good too.
🙂
I’m a coffee drinker mostly but even as I work I am sittin’ on my couch with my feet on a footstool, my laptop in my lap and a cup of coffee on my end table.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I really appreciate it.
You are very, very welcome! 🙂
Are you a member of the “Flat Earth Society” 🙂
Hahaha… I’m usually running a backhoe on projects like that.
🙂
I know what you mean. I tell everyone my wife is in the construction business. (You can figure out the rest of that statement.) Of course her mountains from molehills are usually the worrying kind.
Are you talkin’ about my mother? God love her, I’ve never known a woman to make so many mountains. 🙂
I finally did my dishes. That mountain would simply not go away by itself.
Yep. There are a lot of people in the Molehill Construction business.
My wife hates doing dishes. I don’t mind so usually I do the dishes even when she does the cooking. I don’t like for them to build up. (We really don’t have enough dishes to let them build up long.)
We ran out of forks last night. In my defense, I haven’t been feeling well and finally have a full-blown cold. The dishes were the last thing on my mind. But then !! I had to do them today when I feel my worst. Blasted procrastination!
That seems to be when you have to do what you put off.
I think my Mother could definitely give her a run for her money!
I’m cutting her some slack since she’s coming up on 82, but we’ve all been talking about it lately. She has really been piling on all us for the last few months. Phew! 🙂 As a matter of fact, she’s become a bit of a Mildred — and that was her sister’s name!
Throwing money at it seems to be the only solution the government knows.
Yep. And a billion here and a billion there can pretty soo add up to some real money.
That’s nothing a little dirt can’t fix.
Just rub some dirt on it.
