Rebuffed

This has been a great week and I have been busy trying to add some life to my years.

I haven’t given a Molly update in a while but she is fine today.  She was sick one day this week and had us kind of worried but she is fine now.  Molly loves people and I don’t mean just some people, she loves anyone who comes to our house.  Jeremy Burkes, my good friend and fellow cartoonist (creator of JBSToons http://jbstoons.wordpress.com/ came by for a jewelry making lesson this week.  Molly met him at the door and began to jump all over him trying to love him (even though she had never seen him in her life) to a point to where we had to put her in another room.  She was not a happy camper.

Jeremy had expressed an interest in making jewelry and I showed him a few things that should help him get started.  I feel that the best investment you can make is in the lives of other people.  I had someone one ask me if I would give lessons in makin’ jewelry and I told them I couldn’t because I didn’t know what I was doin’ myself.  I hope I did Jeremy some good.

My buffer had run dry and I spent a couple of days this week workin’ on some new stuff as well as coloring some of the Hank The Handy Man comics.  I completed the ones that I printed in my mini-comic book and I even made a couple of new Hank comics.  I also made a few more for KRUD-TV, Mildred and Edna, and Creatures of Habit.  Along with the remakes of the Hospital Humor that gives me a couple of weeks of material for both sites (at my regular posting rate).

I update this site every Tuesday and Thursday.

My buffer was empty and now it is pretty full.  I guess I’ve been rebuffed.
