I don’t really mind mowing grass…as long as I have a riding lawnmower, and if I don’t have to do too much work on the mower before I actually start mowing. I have had to do some redneck engineering on my mower to the point that no one else could probably get it to cut grass. The exception to not minding the mowing is when it is so hot and humid outside that it feels like a big dog breathing on you. I start out kind of enjoying the yard work but by the time August rolls around I enjoy seeing my lawn turn a nice brown shade and stop growing.
I have seen people water their grass to keep it lush and green even in the driest weather. I avoid these people because you never know if they have violent tendencies as well. With all this talk about gun control I wonder if that is one of the questions on a background check, “Do you water your lawn to keep the grass growing so that you will have to mow it in the hottest part of the summer?” If you answered yes to this question there is no way that I would want you to own any type of weapon.
There are some other good questions that should be on the background check but I will save them for another time.
I’m Bo Lumpkin and I’ve been thinkin’. What have you been thinkin’?
It is so hot and humid here that all I can think of is ice and chilled everything
and monsoons have arrived by it is hot and muggy and it will remain so till November
Till November??
Actually I will probably be still cutting grass some in November down here in Mississippi.
What if you look for greener astroturf
If I were rich I would put astro turf on my lawn.
I landscaped everything so I never have to cut the grass
This world seems to be going in reverse or people are just bored. I’ve seen stuff from when I was 5 coming back. From transformers to strawberry short cake to the easy bake oven. I guess people want to relive there childhood.
As long as we don’t go back past air conditionin’ and indoor plumbin’ that will be okay.
You should rig up an air-conditioner for your ride on mower. I bet no one else has that!
That would be “COOL” in more ways than one. A lot of the tractors around here do have air conditioning.
